An Invitation to Filmmakers,
I am often asked, "Why do I need a film composer for my movie?" Properly written music can make all the difference in the world, especially if you are entering your film in a festival. It is easy to add a canned loop behind your footage right before you print it. Wouldn't you rather have a custom created soundtrack, with individual themes for each character? Themes that can be presented
in many different styles and moods to suit the action on the screen.
Music has been an integral part of film since its inception. Even before dialogue was added, there has always been music. However, film music without a film makes no more sense than a film without music. Therefore, I invite you, the filmmaker, to work with me, a film composer, on your next project. See and hear the difference properly composed film music will make in your project, whether it be a 5-minute animated short, or a 3-hour feature length motion picture.
Regards.
